In May of 2008 I hired this company to install a sliding glass door in my home. After getting up early on a Saturday morning and placing two phone calls to the business, the workers showed up an hour late and didn't understand why I was upset. The owner said he would give me a discount when the workers were finished. When the work was finished, the worker didn't understand why I needed to call the owner about the price. I told him the owner said he would give me a discount because they were late. He got very irate and said the owner would then take my discount out of his paycheck. Then he started screaming at me that he was going to sue me in court. In the middle of all his ranting, I had called the owner, who said I could deduct $100 off the total bill. I told him his employee was yelling that he was going to sue me. The owner asked to speak to the worker, but the worker refused to take the call. He left the property in a huff. When I complained to the owner about this outrageous behavior, he said, "He's really a good guy." A couple days later I called the owner back to have someone come out to retrieve a large 2 x 4 that was left behind as well as clean up some markings on the door and some putty on my balcony. When I specifically asked for someone other than the worker that was there before, he said once again, "He's a good guy." When I said that he wasn't a good guy, that he was very volatile, the owner said, "He was just playing you." Fortunatey, a different worker came to take care of my concerns, and I beleive the workmanship to be good. However, this was the most unprofessional, rude behavior I have ever experienced, and Iwould never recommend this business to anyone.
