Do not use LA Carpet. They are dishonest, crooked and above all unprofessional. I am so glad that we dropped them and used a national flooring company to do our new house. That didn't stop LA Carpet from charging us $150 just for MEASURING our house. And yes they overmeasured our house too! Had we gone with LA Carpet, we would have spent close to $10k more! They tried to charge us extra for sealant, and the MDF white boards for the face of our stair case! The other flooring company laughed and said it's included. So...a couple of months later, we decide to let LA Carpet do the flooring on our old rental property. Wow, was I proven right. Two guys showed up in street clothes with a 15 year old who was apparently a son of one of them!! This kid later used the equipment and helping to install the carpet - right in front of me!
