My story matches up identically to several on here.
Applied for a loan on lending tree in february, spoke with "David Lopez" who informed me of my pre-approval and that I needed to make a deposit up front. Then I spoke with "Luis Delgado" who supposedly leaves the company, for my file to be picked up a week later after harassing "David Lopez" by "T. Marie". After a little while refuses to work with the person I had helping me out because he feels like he isn't trusted. Shortly after that, (who sounds a lot like "Luis") takes over along with "Pam" (Who sounds a lot like T.). Things seem to be moving along when I actually get a closing packet from a lender. For the last 2 months they have been blaming the lender who in turn blamed mortgageclose. These guys are rally good at deflecting blame and making you seem crazy, they string you along hoping you eventually give up. They operate under multiple fictitious names. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!
