I have been doing business with Stone Equity Group ("SEG") since May 2009 as an investor in their nationwide Community Home Ownership ("CHOP") Program. As of the date of this writing (August 2009), I have purchased two (2) properties from SEG.
I am happy to report that I am very satisfied with the customer service that I have received from SEG, as well as with the purchases that I have made from them. SEG has been very open and honest in their dealings with me, always gives me periodic status reports, and has demonstrated their ability to deliver.
One critical area that SEG can improve upon is to reduce its construction/rehab turnaround time. Doing so would enable purchase transactions to close much faster.
Overall, I give SEG a fully favorable rating as a company to do business with.
