I found this online:
Logistics Market Research Inc., A Division Of American Survey Research Organizations This compMany sent me a check, a portion of which had to be remitted back to them. The check 'bounced' and my bank has charged my acount. Efforts to contact them have proved unsucessful. Vicksburg Mississippi.
In their letter, dated November 14, 2008, Logistics Market Research Inc. informed me that I was being selected as a 'Mystery Shopper', A Consumer Servicd Evaluator of selected stores, restaurants, and various establishments. I was now enrolled in a one-week paid training assignment, and promissed, as an assigned Research Personnel, a $600 a week salary, which will increase to $750 per week after three months. It all sounded very good!
Included In that letter was a check for $3,530.00: to be applled to training pay ($300); funds for shopping ($100.00); service charge by Western Union ($150); and remainder ($2980) as required funds to be returned to Logistics Market Research. I took the check to my bank, Washington Mutual, to cash it, so that I can remit the required amount back to Logistics as instructed.
My bank has informed me that the check from Logistics which I had cashed had no sufficient funds, and that my account was being charged for the amount ($3,530).
My several efforts to reach Logistics have proved unsuccessful.
