Turns out to be a Scam! Rodney made a cold call to a company who decided to use him as a loan officer. We sell equipment and are a dealer. The customer was buying the truck from us and using Rodney to handle the funding. It took a while for our customer to get all the paperwork together, Rodney was getting anxious. When the customer finally sent money for the deposit and the signed paperwork, Rodney fell off the face of the Earth. Found out the FED Ex went to a business location and he had a land line phone number for Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the customer did not pre-screen this "company" until after this happened. The customer did call the local police where he sent the check and financial paperwork to, but it was too late.
Avoid!!! Maybe this will help someone in the future from making the same mistake.
